The Gospel Straight Rye Whiskey 700ml

The newest offering from Melbourne's Gospel Distillers, Gospel Straight Rye Whiskey is as American a rye as can be produced in Australia. The climax of five year's work, it is double distilled from 100% unmalted Rye from a single farm in Murray Mallee and aged for a minimum of 2 years in virgin American oak barrels with char levels between #2 and #4. Medium bodied it offers a superb balance between the sweet oak notes and the natural spiciness of the unmalted rye. Best served neat but also an excellent base for any rye cocktail.
