Portland's own Westward Single Malt Cask Strength Whiskey is a 45% ABV American Single Malt Whiskey that starts its life as an American pale ale craft beer that's brewed with locally sourced ale yeast and malted barley, then twice distilled in copper pot stills and aged in low char American Oak casks to create a full-flavoured, American whiskey. Bursting with aromas of black pepper, toasted almond and graham cracker, it flows beautifully across the palate with complex flavours of cacao, tobacco leaf and sesame for a warm, honeyed malt finish. Best served neat or on the rocks.
