White Oak Distillery Tokinoka 500ml

One of the lesser-known whiskies from Japan, White Oak Distillery Tokinoka, is a blending of several single malts produced by the company in conjunction with their better-known Akashi single malt offering. Its name translates from the Japanese to "fragrance of time" and truly time is of the essence in its production. White Oak only operates its stills for one month each year, meaning that the supply is limited, but it is well worth waiting for. Distinctly Japanese in character it has a slight medicinal aroma with honeyed cereal and green apple notes and lays on the palate with an apricot sweetness carrying touches of dried fruit.
