Writers Tears Marsala Single Cask Single Pot Still Whiskey 700ml

An exceptional bottling marrying the tastes of Ireland and Sicily in a unique expression bursting with flavour. Carefully finished in Marsala Hogsheads from the stunning Florio winery in Sicily for 12 months, this whiskey brings a delicate warmth and depth to the marriage of single pot still and single malt Irish whiskey.

The nose is rich with the aroma of golden syrup along with earthy notes and dried fruits. Caramelised apple is apparent on the palate with with nutty spices and wildflower honey. The finish is medium in length with lingering caramel and spice.
