Yellow Rose Rye Whiskey 700ml

The Yellow Rose Straight Rye is a tribute to the pre-prohibition distillers of Houston that were put out of business by the Eighteenth Amendment in 1919. At the time rye was the preferred local whiskey of the United States.

With a mash bill of 95 rye it starts with a delicious nose of mild vanilla and pine with a hint of brown sugar. The palate brings slightly sweet, spearmint with mild pepper and maple into a medium finish with a smoother rye spice than you sometimes get from this style of whiskey.
