Scotland's highest distillery, Dalwhinnie, is located in the central highlands between the Monadhliath and Grampian mountain ranges in Inverness-Shire. It is best known for its dry peaty presentations which possess heavy notes of heather and honey. Already considered by many to be a connoisseur's dream, they have now expanded their line with Dalwhinnie Distillers Edition. Double matured in fortified wine casks these limited offerings are everything a lover of fine malts could hope for. Peaty, spicy and honeyed vanilla notes remain at the forefront and are enhanced without being hidden by the fragrant Oloroso sherry tones. Served neat it is the perfect fireside companion.
