The 15 year old Revival is a favourite of ours. But don't most people have it on their shortlist? It's one of the drams credited with the booming interest in (and global shortage) of ex-Sherry casks.

A marriage of both Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez casks, Revival hits all the flavours we love from single malt aged in Sherry - raisins, stone fruits, dark berries, dark chocolate, walnuts and candied orange are all there. You'll also get a hint of Manuka honey and some earthy angelica root. It's just plain delicious.

After a brief hiatus Revival is once again part of the Glendronach core range but it is on allocation so can still be a little bit hard to find. We got our hands on a small amount so we thought we share it at a ripper price to save you searching for it.

This is still good

Delicious, nice spice on the nose, and lots of dried fruits. Gives Macallan a run for its money two-fold.

Despite the criticism online from removing the NCF statement, this whisky clouds up when I added water, and when left to dry in the glass after finishing a dram, as with other NCF whiskies, this has an oiliness that sticks to the glass.
