Agricole rhum is distinguished from rum by being made from the fresh cane juice rather than cooked molasses and is considered a much finer product with subtler nuances. Widely considered a staple among Rhum drinkers, J.M XO Tres Vieux, is a Martinican rhum aged for a minimum of 6 years in 100% re-charred Bourbon casks giving it a nutty aroma with touches of citrus and sage. On the tongue, it strikes with a fruity explosion with mango and passion fruit flavours mingling with accents of cinnamon, white pepper and nutmeg.
